DPRU Database Converter - MS SQL to MySQL

이번 프로젝트에 MS-SQL기반의 웹사이트를 MySQL로 마이그레이션 하는 작업을 받았다.
좀 더 편한 작업을 위해 툴을 검색하던중 DPRU Database Converter - MS SQL to MySQL을
찾았고, 데모버전에서 5개 row 라는 제약은 있었지만, 모든 테이블이 완전하게 변환되는것을 확인하였다.
30$ 가까운 금액을 들여 정식버전을 구매하였는데 이런 쉣!
풀버전에서는 변환도중 "Table is not Supported in MySQL format."이라는 메시지와 함께 43개의 테이블중 16개만 변환이 되었다.
DRPU에 문의메일을 보냈지만 같은 알고리즘을 사용한 프로그램이라는 형식적인 답만 받을수 있었다.
변환불가능의 예외사항을 몇가지 보내오긴 했지만 별 다른 안될만한 이유를 찾지 못했다.

결국은 번거로운 작업을 통해 프로젝트를 끝내야 했다.
해외 구매라 환불도 안되고.. 제작자 쪽은 프로그램을 개선할 의지가 전혀 없어 보였다.

만약 이 마이그레이션 툴을 사용할 생각이 있으신 분들은 반드시 참고 하시길 바란다.
